CAM is owned and operated by Jim and Lise Kealey who will work directly with your Board of Directors to implement the changes you want and the vision you see. CAM’s primary goal is to assist your Board of Directors to enrich your community and preserve the value of homes in your association by bringing years of accumulated experience. CAM was created purposely to avoiding the manager of the month club and that is why at CAM you will not be passed on to another new manager, your primary contact will be with the company principals, Jim and Lise Kealey
With experience dating back to the young age of 14, in his parent’s property management company, Jim Kealey has a wealth of experience and knowledge in every aspect of the field of property management. Jim thinks back to when he collected rents when people paid cash rather than the electronic way we have excelled to now!
In 1987, Jim retired from his banking and mortgage career with a large corporate bank in Canada to pursue his passion spurred on by his interest in his family business in the field of real estate management. Jim and Lise spent several years developing a large successful property management company servicing foreign service personnel posted across the world.
But further business acquisitions inspired by passion for providing service in the field of real estate management brought them to the Nation’s Capital – Washington DC where Jim acquired a midsized CONDO and HOA management company in Northern Virginia managing 14,000 units in a portfolio of 60 Condos & HOAs. Jim is well experienced as a portfolio manger and specializes in every aspect of Condo and HOA management. He is also well versed in the management of single family home rentals.
Jim’s considerable years of service to Boards of Directors has caused him to realize that the larger company does not equal better service and has been spurred on to develop a CONDO & HOA management with a niche market philosophy purposely created to manage ‘Hands on” fewer associations.
Lise on the other hand, continued providing housing solutions to Foreign Service Personnel and was employed by the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC as the Housing Officer to Australian families relocating across to North America. With her extensive background in real estate management and experience she arranged accommodation for relocating families across the US and Canada. Both Lise and Jim have attended Whitehouse invitations and Lise attended the Blue Room dinning room at the Pentagon by invitation a very rare happening.
Lise has an extensive background in customer service and office administration. With her solid 18 years background in financial property management she provides direction to the internal operations that ensures high quality financial reporting for our clients.
Jim’s formal education was in the field of Business Management as well as accounting and marketing.
Jim has also successfully completed the CAI courses, M100 Essentials of Community Association Management providing him the designation of CMCA. In addition, he completed M203 Community Leadership, M205 Risk Management and M206 Financial Management. He continues to pursue educational courses through CAI to attain his PCAM designation
Lise’s formal education was in the field of Business Administration.
Jim and Lise are licensed CAM's, members of SCCA, and Members of CAI
Lise also holds a Florida Real Estate agent license.
